Tips & Variations

  • For extra flavor, use smoked turkey or add a slice of sharp cheddar cheese.
  • If you prefer, substitute mayonnaise with mustard or a flavored aioli.
  • Grill the sandwich lightly after assembly for a warm, melty version.

Storage

For best taste, enjoy the club sandwich fresh. If storing, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Reheat briefly in a toaster oven to regain some crispness, avoiding sogginess.

How to Serve

A thick sandwich cut in half diagonally shows multiple layers with a toasted golden-brown crust on white bread. The top layer is toasted bread with grill marks, followed by crispy bacon strips, thin slices of turkey or chicken, fresh green lettuce, and melted yellow cheese. Below the cheese is a thick red tomato slice, more crispy bacon, and another layer of lettuce, all stacked neatly. Four wooden picks hold the sandwich layers together. The sandwich rests on a wooden surface with a white marbled background. photo taken with an iphone --ar 4:5 --v 7
