Ingredients

Scale

Dates

  • 6 Medjool dates, pitted

Filling and Topping

  • 6 tsp smooth peanut butter
  • 20g salted peanuts, roughly chopped
  • 60g dark chocolate, melted

Instructions

  1. Prepare Dates: Remove the stones from the Medjool dates carefully by slicing them open and pitting them, then press each date gently but firmly into round cupcake silicone molds to create a base.
  2. Add Peanut Butter and Peanuts: Spoon one teaspoon of smooth peanut butter on top of each date in the mold, then sprinkle with roughly chopped salted peanuts for crunch and added flavor.
  3. Drizzle Chocolate: Melt the dark chocolate until smooth, then drizzle it evenly over the peanut butter and peanut-topped dates in the molds, covering them lightly.
  4. Freeze to Set: Place the silicone molds in the freezer for approximately one hour to allow the chocolate to set firmly and the flavors to meld together.
  5. Serve: Once set, remove the Date Snickers from the molds and serve immediately as a delicious and healthy treat.

Notes

  • Use silicone molds to easily remove the snacks without sticking.
  • Medjool dates are preferred for their size and natural sweetness.
  • Adjust the amount of peanut butter based on personal preference for creaminess.
  • Dark chocolate with at least 70% cocoa content is recommended for rich flavor and less sugar.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to one week.
