Instructions

  1. Cook the Noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain the noodles and set aside, reserving a little pasta water for later use.
  2. Season the Chicken: While the noodles cook, season both sides of the chicken breasts evenly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried thyme to enhance flavor.
  3. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts once the oil is hot. Cook for 6-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
